Femmesoft ("we," "us," "our") is a custom software development company located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This policy explains what information we collect through femmesoft.us, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible, and we do not sell personal information.
Information you give us
When you submit a form on this site or contact us directly, we receive only what you choose to provide:
→ Your name and email address.
→ Your company name, if you enter one.
→ The message or description of your situation that you write.
→ Your phone number, if you provide it.
We use this solely to respond to you, to schedule and hold a consultation, and to keep a record of our correspondence. If we begin working together, this information becomes part of the ordinary client relationship governed by our engagement agreement.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers record standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of the visit. We use this in aggregate to understand which content is useful and to detect abuse. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it.
How we use your information
We use the information described above only to:
→ Reply to your inquiry and provide the consultation you requested.
→ Deliver and support services under an engagement agreement.
→ Send you our newsletter, if and only if you subscribed to it.
→ Maintain the security, integrity, and performance of this site.
→ Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not use your data to train machine learning models. We do not send unsolicited marketing to people who only asked us a question, and we do not pass your inquiry to third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We use a small number of third-party providers to run the business – website hosting, email, analytics, and, where applicable, a newsletter platform. They process data only on our instructions and only as needed to provide their service. Where a provider is located outside the United States, we rely on standard contractual protections for that transfer.
Client project data
During an engagement we may be given access to systems, documents, or datasets belonging to you or your customers. That access is governed by the confidentiality terms of our engagement agreement rather than by this policy. We access only what the work requires, limit access to the team members on the project, and return or delete such data at the end of the engagement on request.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as it remains commercially relevant, and no longer than three years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, or contractual reasons. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You may ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you. Email info@femmesoft.us and we will respond within thirty days. Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights, including under United States state privacy laws and, if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, under the GDPR. We honor those rights regardless of whether a specific law compels us to.
Security
We use encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls scoped to the people who need them, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your information the way we would want ours treated, and we will notify you promptly if a breach affects your data.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.

These terms govern your use of femmesoft.us. They are not the agreement under which we perform paid work – that is a separate written engagement agreement signed by both parties, which takes precedence over anything on this page for the services it covers.
Using this website
You may read, share, and reference the content on this site. You may not scrape it at a volume that degrades service for others, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or present our content as your own. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of the site at any time.
Information on this site is not an offer
Service descriptions, durations, deliverable lists, and case studies here are illustrative. They describe how we typically work; they are not a binding quote and do not create a contract. Scope, price, timeline, and guarantees exist only in a signed engagement agreement. Case studies and figures shown as placeholders are marked as such and should not be relied on.
Consultations
We offer a free consultation of approximately thirty minutes. It is a conversation, not a deliverable: nothing said in it is professional advice you should act on without your own verification, and it creates no obligation on either side. We may decline a project, and we will say plainly if we think someone else is a better fit.
Intellectual property
This site – its text, layout, graphics, logo, and code – belongs to Femmesoft. The name and logo may not be used to imply endorsement or partnership without our written permission.
Work product from a paid engagement is different, and deliberately so: on completion and full payment, you own the deliverables – full source code, documentation, specifications, and process materials produced for you. The engagement agreement records that transfer, along with any pre-existing tools or libraries that remain licensed rather than assigned.
Confidentiality
Information you share with us in a consultation or an engagement is treated as confidential and used only to evaluate or perform the work. We are glad to sign your NDA before a detailed conversation; ask and we will.
Deadline guarantee
We offer a contractual service level commitment on delivery dates: if we miss an agreed date for reasons attributable to us, a defined portion of the fee is returned. The precise terms, exclusions, and the dates themselves live in the engagement agreement. Delays caused by factors outside our control – including late client feedback, scope changes, or third-party systems – are handled as described there.
Third-party links and services
This site may link to third-party resources, and delivered software may integrate third-party services such as payment processors or communication providers. We do not control those parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, or terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
This website is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Femmesoft is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Liability relating to paid services is addressed and limited in the engagement agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes relating to this website are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is the one posted here with the date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of it.

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on femmesoft.us. We keep them to a minimum: we run no advertising networks, and we do not use cookies to build profiles of visitors for resale.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It lets the site remember things between page loads – a preference you set, or an anonymous identifier that helps count visits without knowing who you are.
What we use
→ Strictly necessary cookies – required for the site to load, serve pages securely, and remember basic interface state. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
→ Analytics cookies – used in aggregate to count visits and see which articles and pages are useful, so we can write more of what helps. We configure analytics to collect no more than we need.
→ Newsletter preference – if you subscribe, a cookie may record that so we do not keep showing you the invitation.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not embed social media pixels on this site.
Your control
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies, and offers a setting to refuse third-party cookies entirely. Blocking analytics cookies has no effect on your ability to use this site or contact us. Instructions differ by browser – look for "Cookies" or "Privacy" in your browser settings.
Third-party cookies
Where we rely on an external provider for analytics or newsletter delivery, that provider may set its own cookie under its own policy. We choose providers that support privacy-respecting configurations, and we do not authorize them to use your data for their own advertising.
Changes
If we add or remove a category of cookie we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
